Outfit Log #4: Lolita Archangel Print (Thursday)

I think I may retire my Lolita attire until Fall//Winter...I can't handle the layers of clothing or others staring at me on the streets (I admit, I mean I occasionally enjoy the attention but there can be too much of a good thing...).

The photographs are taken at an open house and a neighbor's house (regarding the latter... my inner lolita could not resist...s/he had cupid/cherubs on pedestals in the yard--I could not deny myself although I did try to crop out the actual house to maintain their privacy [is this a little too little, too late...regretting taking advantage of the beautiful yard display?]).

As for the print...it's Moi-meme-moitie's Archangel jsk--prior to actually purchasing the dress, I read a slew of comments on some egl thread about the print. It seemed as though a great majority of the people disliked the "copy and paste" appearance of the print in addition to Moitie's string of random words on the border of the skirt...

Is it just me...? This dress was my dream Moitie print and I actually don't mind the text--I mean...when I am feeling bored at school or on the subway, the text always makes me laugh. Mainly I'm attracted to the artwork...I admit though, the screen print plastic-y texture of the print is rather off putting...
